1. keep browsing please dont you ever go to the coco bay food, rooms, everything its terrible I know great price believe over priced.
2. When are you going ? My husband and I will be going to the Sandos Playacar Riviera (its suppose to be newly built) in 3 weeks. We chose this one based on the reviews off of tripadvisor.com. Sandos themselves responded to the reviews of people who stayed there. It looks like they're interested in customer service. As far as your age group - i guess it just depends on what you like to do. Last year we stayed at the Barcelo Tropical but it was such a long drive to everything. Hence the reason to stay in Playa del carmen.
